Islamabad: 103 suspects held
ISLAMABAD: The Ramna Police arrested 103 suspects in a search operation on Thursday night, the police spokesman said. The search operation was conducted in various areas, including G-12 and Mera Badia from where 103 suspects, including Afghan nationals, who could not produce any document for their identification, were arrested. The arrested suspects were shifted to the police station. On the directives of the IGP, the police team under the supervision of SP Sadar Sajid Kiani, SDPO Dr. Shakir and SHO Muhammad Aslam conducted search operation in the jurisdiction of the Ramna Police Station. The IGP and the SSP have directed police to expand search operation to other areas of the city. The purpose for starting search operation in various areas is to ensure foolproof security in the capital.
