Okara: 5 dacoits loot house of judge; Lawyers observe complete strike
OKARA: Five dacoits took away cash and valuables from the house of a civil judge in Judicial Colony. The dacoits broke into the house of Civil Judge Tariq Ayub, took the family hostage and made off with cash, gold ornaments, prize bonds and a laptop worth Rs 300,000. Sadr police have registered a case under Sections 458 and 380 of the Pakistan Penal Code. Meanwhile, the District Bar Association observed a complete strike against the incident. The lawyers boycotted the court proceedings to register their protest.
