Lahore: 2 non-customs paid vehicles seized
LAHORE: Customs Intelligence staff on Monday claimed to have seized two non–customs paid vehicles of worth Rs6 million, said sources in Customs department. They said that Customs Intelligence received secret information that an Advocate of Supreme Court was possessing and driving a non paid customs duty luxury vehicle with a fake registration number plate. Intelligence staff intercepted him near Jain Mandar area and recovered the said vehicle.
Another car was seized by the Intelligence staff from the possession of a former Judge Aslam Shami. Both the vehicles were being run under fake registration number. Customs intelligence has registered cases against the owners of the cars and started investigations.
