Lahore: Bakery torture case Charges to be framed on 20th
LAHORE: A judicial magistrate will frame charges on Nov 20 in the bakery torture case involving the son-in-law of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. On Tuesday, the magistrate handed over copies of the case documents to Ali Imran Yousaf, the CM’s son–in–law and other accused persons. Defence-B police had registered the case against Mr Yousaf and his seven security guards after a CCTV footage of the incident was aired by some television channels. In the footage, Mr Yousaf’s guards were seen thrashing an employee of a bakery in Defence area.
The victim, Irfan, had reportedly refused to deliver a cake to a woman customer, stated to be Mr Yousaf’s wife. The main accused had courted arrest after chief minister directed him to join police investigation. All the accused were already released on bail.
