Islamabad: ANF recovers 11kg of heroin
ISLAMABAD: The Anti–Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered 11 kilograms of heroin from a passenger at the Jinnah International Airport Karachi, said a message received here. According to details, the ANF Sindh apprehended a passenger during routine checking at the Jinnah International Airport, Karachi. The ANF identified the passenger as Muhammad Asim son of Muhammad Akhtar, resident of Lalazar, Chak No 143/TDA, Tehsil and District Layyah.
He was proceeding from Karachi to Amsterdam via Doha at flight QR-319. The ANF recovered 11kgs of heroin concealed in two trolley bags. The culprit has been arrested and an FIR, under Section 9 (c) CS Act–1997, has been lodged and further investigation is underway.
