Lahore: CIA claims to have nicked gangsters
LAHORE: CIA police on Monday claimed to have smashed a gang of robbers by arresting its four members including the ringleader involved in several armed robberies. According to an official handout, the police also recovered one–kg gold. The police named the bandits as Aftab Ashraf, Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Shahid and Muhammad Ashfaq. During preliminary investigations, the bandits have confessed to five incidents of robberies they had committed in different parts of the City, CIA Iqbal Town police said.
Trainee cops’ visit: A 14-member delegation of under training police officers of 40th common visited the offices of Capital City Police Officer. SSP (Admin) Sarfraz Falki received the delegation and later briefed them about the history of Lahore police, administrative structure, crimes rate, and registration of cases.
