Karachi: Held terrorists confess to killing 29
KARACHI: Three target killers arrested by the CID Karachi have confessed to killing 29 persons of Rangers, police, Sipah–e–Sahaba Pakistan (SSP), Aman Committee and MQM Haqiqi. The three arrested terrorists, including Akbar Hussain alias Akbar Nana, Syed Tanweer Ahmad alias Tanu and Syed Ali Raj alias Ali, confessed before the JIT that they killed 13 Haqiqi men, four SSP activists, six policemen including two officers, one Ranger, four Aman Committee members and a hotel owner.
All three arrested target killers belonged to a political party. They admitted that they joined the party to take shelter for their sectarian killings. The accused after confessional statement in the Joint Interrogation Team (JTI) have been sent to jail.
