Lahore: Murder case adjourned
LAHORE: An Additional District and Sessions Court on Monday adjourned the hearing by December 20 for framing charges on accused Shan Khusro, son of Additional Federal Secretary and former Commissioner Lahore Parvez Khusro allegedly involved in murder of his class fellow. According to FIR got registered by Fazal Elahi, father of deceased Hamza, in Barqi Police under section 302 against Shan Khusro, Hamza left home after he made a phone call to Shan. After that he received a phone call that his son had been gunned down in DHA phase VI.
Shan had stated before the police that he had shot dead Hamza accidentally. He told the police that he and Hamza had gone out on the night of June 2 to Defence for a drive and aerial firing. He said that he had got the unlicenced gun from a personal contact in Farooqabad.
Shan told the police that while he was trying to remove a bullet from the chamber of the gun, which he was holding in his lap, it accidentally went off and a bullet hit Hamza near the right ear. Hamza was driving the car and was on the phone at that time. Shan said that Hamza died instantly and, in a panic, he pushed him out of the car and slid into the passenger seat.
