Mardan: 3 Afghans held for overstay
MARDAN: Local police have arrested three Afghan nationals from a madrassa in the limits of Par Hoti Police Station, police sources said on Wednesday. They said that acting on a tip-off a police party raided a madrassa named Dar-ul-Ulum-e-Tahafuz-e-Quran at Gulshanabad Mosam Koroona in the limits of Par Hoti Police Station and arrested Afghan nationals.
They were identified as Saif ul Haq, son of Shamsul Haq, Zakir, son of Saed Hakeem, both residents of Afghanistan now Baghacha Dheri camp; and Abdul Latif, son of Abdul Basir, resident of Afghanistan now Da-ul-Ulim-e-Tahafuz-e-Quran under the Foreign Act for staying in Pakistan without legal documents. The police have registered a case against them under section 16 of the Foreign Act.
