Khyber Agency: Arms smuggling bid foiled
KHYBER AGENCY: Security forces arrested a fake currency dealer in addition to foiling a bid of arms smuggling Afghanistan, official sources said on Thursday. They said that Suleman, son of Said Tahir, resident of Afghanistan, was arrested after the Torkham border security forces recovered a 30–bore rifle along with its silencer, magazines and dozens of bullets from his luggage. The arrested person was trying to smuggle the rifle to Afghanistan.
While the Landi kotal administration arrested another man along with fake Pakistani currency in Landi kotal bazaar, the sources added. Both the accused were shifted to Landi Kotal lock up for investigation and cases were lodged against them.
