Karachi: Customs recovers 36 valuable falcons
KARACHI: The Pakistan Customs Intelligence seized 36 falcons worth millions of rupees on Sunday. After receiving a tip-off that some smugglers were trying to export falcons via sea, Customs personnel started patrolling along the Jiwani coast in Balochistan. Discovering suspicious movement in the costal area, Customs personnel moved in, but the smugglers managed to escape in a boat. Customs personnel recovered 36 falcons, which are worth millions of rupees in the international market, from the cages left behind by the fleeing smugglers.
