19 outlaws arrested; cars recovered from Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Friday claimed to arrest 19 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered three cars, one motorbike, laptop, narcotics and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said. According to details, ASI Tasneem Ahmed from CIA police Islamabad arrested Sajid Zaman, Aqib Azad and recovered stolen laptop from them while a motorbike thief Muneeb Shah was also apprehended besides recovery of new motorbike from him.
Inspector Zulfiqar Ahmed from CIA police nabbed Aziz for selling diesel without legal permission while Sub-Inspector Shamas Akbar and ASI Tariq Rauf arrested Khan Zaman and Ghulam Ismail for possessing two 30 bore pistols.
Sub-Inspector Fiaz Akbar from Sabzi Manid police station apprehended Dost Muhammad for possessing 30 bore pistol while ASI Nur Elahi from Ramana police arrested two thieves Mukhtar Ahmed and Rubina Bibi. Sub-Inspector Rab Nawaz from Tarnol police arrested an accused Sharif for possessing bogus corolla car (IDF-9388) while two tempered cars (IDC-6222, LEB-5311) were recovered from Shah Nawaz and Liaqat Zaman by ASI Nur Elahi from anti-car lifting cell.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Tehseen from Golra police recovered 140 heroin from Tahir Muneer while ASI Fateh Ullah from Margallah police arrested mobile thief Asif and recovered stolen mobile phone from him.
ASI Zafar Iqbal from Loi Bher police arrested Kashif, Mishi, Sobia and Tanzeela for their alleged involvement in immoral activities. Cases have been registered against all of these nabbed persons under relevant sections and further investigation is underway from them.
