Islamabad: 18 accused held; 8 bottles of wine recovered
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad police on Tuesday apprehended 18 culprits, recovered, 8 bottles of wine, car, chars, heroin, camera and various stolen items from their possession. On the directives SSP Islamabad Yasin Farooq, Islamabad police during crackdown operation against criminal arrested 18 accused involved in various unlawful activities in the capital. ASI Aabpara Police Station Zulfiqar Ahmed during a search operation arrested accused Zakir Hussain and recovered eight bottles of wine.
Bhara Kau police station Inspector Mansoor Ahmed apprehended accused Hayder Shah and Hussan Mir and recovered two camera worth Rs. 50,000. Sub-Inspector of Police station of Tarnol Ghulam Shabeer during a search operation arrested accused Dialwar Hussain and recovered 135 gram heroin while ASI Iqbal Muhammad arrested accused Sarfaraz Khan who were busy in filling gas cylinder without permission.
Police station of Industrial area ASI Muhammad Raiz Ranja arrested accused Nabeel Meshi for filling gas cylinder without permission.
Ramana Police station ASI Muhammad Arif along with team arrested accused Muhammad Faheem, Zakir, Abbas Ali, Farakh Saheed and Rabia from Flat 5 block 23 sector G-11/4 for involving immoral activities,.
Sub–Inspector Iftikhar Ahmed of Banni Gala police station during a search operation arrested Amir Mustfa and recovered 130 gram of chars.
Police station Loahibhir ASi Muhammad Ishaiq arrested accused Raja Intakhib, Zubir Wahib Buttt and Irshid Ahmed involved in theft activities. Police have registred the cases and started the investigation.
Inspector General of Police Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yasin Farooq has lauded the performance of CIA SHOs and patrolling officers have been directed to further tighten the security.
