Rawalpindi: Kidnapped Nadia recovered after 3 years
RAWALPINDI: The police, finally, managed to recover Nadia Mushtaq from Wah Cantonment, reportedly kidnapped some three years ago from Rawalpindi, police said. The Supreme Court of Pakistan at that time took the suo moto notice on the mysterious missing of the young girl. While the police claimed that she got married with his beloved young man and started living with him in Wah. The police said that Nadia Mushtaq used 92 SIMs after her missing and was in touch with his family but his father, Qazi Mushtaq, a retired constable of the police, lodged an FIR against unknown people and insisted that his young daughter was kidnapped.
Consequently, during the hearing of the case by the apex court, one SHO and 13 sub–inspectors were suspended from service for their failure in recovering the kidnapped girl. The accused girl has been handed over to the Airport Police for further investigation.
