20 outlaws arrested in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have arrested five outlaws, seven absconders and eight suspects from various localities of the city and recovered stolen cash, mobile phones and 1.50 kilograms of hashish from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday. The CIA Police arrested four absconders wanted by Islamabad Police for their involvement in criminal cases of heinous nature. The Bhara Kahu Police nabbed two proclaimed offenders and Secretariat Police arrested one proclaimed offender.
The Golra Police arrested drug-pusher identified as Habib–ur–Rehman, during routine patrolling after recovery of 1.50 kilograms of hashish. The Tarnol Police arrested Khalid Mehmood for having heroin. The Industrial Area Police nabbed Shafique after recovery of four bottles of liquor.
The CIA Police arrested Inayat-ur-Rehman and Attaullah for their alleged involvement in street crime besides recovering snatched mobile phones and cash from them. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway.
The Bhara Kahu and Sabzi Mandi Police arrested eight suspects during search operation in their respective areas.
