Sargodha: Bids to abduct 4 minors foiled
SARGODHA/ SHEIKHUPURA: The Punjab Highway Police (PHP) have foiled a bid to abduct three minor students on Thursday. The PHP sources told that two suspects were bringing three minor girls with them near village Dhrema in the remit of Jhal Chakkian Police. On seeing the PHP mobile van, the girls shouted for help. At which the PHP officials intervened and saved three girls – 13-year-old Komal, 9-year-old Iqra and six-year-old Layla (6) while two accused Khalid and Muhammad Tahir were arrested who were handed over to the police for investigation.
In SHEIKHUPURA, a woman was caught red–handed abducting a two-year-old by passersby near Kot Abdul Maalik the other day. The accused later was identified as Manzooran Bibi who running after abducting a two-year-old boy Zeeshan, son of Noor Muhammad. Upon screams and crying of the child the passersby overpowered the woman and recovered the boy. Later she was handed over to the Factory Area Police.
