Okara: DSP, 3 inspectors among 47 booked
OKARA: On the order of the Lahore High Court (LHC), a case has been registered against 47 people, including a DSP, three inspectors and as many SIs, for trespassing on a house and setting it ablaze. Fazal Bibi, wife of Khan Muhammad Jatala of 43/4L village, contended that Sadr DSP Riaz Bhatti, former Sadr SHO Muhammad Ismail and former Cantt SHOs Muhammad Aslam and Yaqoob Bhatti and other accused had entered her house 28 and set the articles ablaze on January 28.
She alleged that SI Saadatullah Baloch had stolen jewellery and cash from the house. The case has been registered under sections 435 of the PPC and 156 of the Police Order 2002. Sources said that Fazal Bibi was the mother of the proclaimed offender Aji Jatala who carried Rs 500,000 as head money.
