Rawalpindi: 6-member gang of dacoits busted
RAWALPINDI: A six–member gang wanted by the police in two provinces was apprehended from Rawalpindi on Tuesday. The suspects, identified as Pervez Khan, Moosa Khan, Shaukat, Ahmed Nawaz, Raees and Asif, confessed to committing serious crimes. The accused robbed a bakery on February 26 and then mercilessly shot a person to death on resistance.One suspect, Asif, was captured red handed by the locals but his accomplices managed to escape.
According to the police, five remaining accused were later arrested from a hotel on the identification of the arrested dacoit. They told interrogators that they used to rob shops on gunpoint and distribute the looted amount equally.
Meanwhile, the increasing number of car robbery incidents in the jurisdiction of Aabpara police station has made life difficult for the citizens of Islamabad.
In the fresh wave of car robbery incident, Muhammad Rasheed lodge complaint in the Aabpara police station that he went to CDA headquarter for some work and took the parking receipt from police person deployed outside the CDA headquarters but when he came back his Honda City car was stolen.
It is learn that more than one dozen cars have been stolen from different areas situated in the precincts of Aabpara police station during one month. Meanwhile, the citizens demanded to concern authority to take serious notice towards this grave issue so that the masses would get some relief respectively.
