Islamabad: 21 outlaws including street criminals and POs arrested
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 21 outlaws including four proclaimed offenders from various areas of the city and recovered snatched valuables, weapons and drugs from their possession, a police spokesman said on Wednesday. According to details, ASI Fayyaz Akbar along with Sabzi Mandi police team arrested Haris Qureshi, Dilbar Khan and Shahbaz for their alleged involvement in street crime. Police team also recovered six snatched mobiles phone, cash and two 30 bore pistols from their possession.
ASI Tariq Khan from Sabzi Mandi police station also arrested Amin Khan for having 30 bore pistol while ASI Ishtiaq Hussain from Margallah police station arrested Sardar Ajmal for possessing stolen cell phone.
ASI Sohail Akram from Kohsar police station arrested Umer Khalid, Mohsin and recovered snatched mobile phones from their possession. ASI Muhammad Jameel arrested e Saeem Ahmad and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Sub–Inspector Mansoor Ahmed from Bhara Kau police station recovered a Kalashnikov and a 30 bore pistol from an accused Said Kareem.
Sub–Inspectors Muhmmad Tasneen and Muhammad Fayyaz along with police team arrested Sarfaraz and Sania Butt beisbdes recovering one wine bottle and 250 gram hashish from them.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Hussain along with team of Golra police station arrested Ayesha Ruksar for possessing 130 grams heroin.
ASIs Azmat Hayyat and Iqbal Muhammad from Tarnol police station arrested two accused Noor Ayyaz, Muhammad Zameer and recovered a 30 bore pistol and a shotgun from their possession.
Sub–Inspector Ghulam Murtza from Sihala police station nabbed Zahid Mehmood and recovered 170 grams hashish from him.
Sub–Inspector Muhmmad Ashraf from CIA police arrested Yasir for having 30 bore pistol.
Likewise, ASI Muhammad Niaz from Shahzad Town police station recovered one 30 bore pistol from Shahzad Ahmed. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, Golra and Bhara Kau police stations also arrested four proclaimed offenders wanted to police for their alleged involvement in crime cases of heinous nature.
IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq have appreciated this performance and directed all police officials to remain vigilant.
