Rajanpur: Police recover child, nab 4 kidnappers
RAJANPUR: Police have recovered an eight–year–old child kidnapped for ransom. The kidnappers were demanding Rs80 million for release of Muhammad Hussain. Nazar Hussain, father of the child and resident of Sahanwala, Tehsil Fazilpur, submitted a complaint with the police that his child had been kidnapped and the kidnappers were demanding Rs80 million for his release.
On the complaint, DPO Sadiq Ali Dogar constituted a special team comprising SDPOs Muhammad Zarar Buzdar, Khalid Masood Nasir, SHOs Mujahid Iqbal Birmani and Fiaz Ahmad who recovered the child and arrested the suspects namely Pervez, Ahmad, Hakim and Allah Divaya.
Talking to the media and local people at the DPO’s Office, SDPO Zafar Buzdar said that the police are supposed to secure lives and the property of the area. On the occasion, the people garlanded the SDPO and other police officers. District Bar Association of Rajanpur President Muhammad Salim Afghan and Yasir Iqbal also addressed the gathering and appreciated the quick action.
Trade Union Rajanpur Vice President Muhammad Nadeem praised the betimes action and demanded that the raiding team should be rewarded.
