Faisalabad: 5 women abducted; biker, woman killed separately
FAISALABAD: Five women including three girls were abducted from different parts of the city while a woman and a motorcyclist were killed in separate incidents over the last 24 hours. According to police, Bilal along with his accomplices allegedly kidnapped a girl from Chak 202/RB while Umar Maqsood, Sajid and Bilal allegedly abducted a girl from Chak 258/RB.
Meanwhile, Riaz along with his three accomplices allegedly abducted woman, her daughter and niece from Chak 403/GB. The police registered separate cases and started investigation.
Similarly in another incident a married teenage girl committed suicide in the remit of Saddr Police here. According to police, 18–year–old Anam, a resident of Duddhiwala consumed acid after a quarrel with her husband over a domestic dispute. She fell unconscious and was rushed to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital but she could not survive. The police took the body into custody and started investigation.
In another incident, a motorcyclist was killed in an accident in the limits of D–Type Colony Police here on Saturday.
According to police, 18-year-old Sabir, a resident of Bawa Chak was going somewhere on his motorcycle when the two-wheeler was collided with an electricity pole on Sammundri Road.
Resultantly he received serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital where he died.
The police started investigation into the incident.
