Karachi: CID arrests 3 ‘murderers’
KARACHI: The CID raided a house near Frontier Morr in SITE and arrested three men believed to be involved in murders and robberies. The police also recovered weapons motorcycles during the raid. CID Investigation Wing SP Mazhar Mashwani said the three men had been identified as Najeebullah, Rahim Khan and Mohammad Irshad alias Majboor Khan.
“The raid was conducted when an informer tipped us off about their presence in the area,” the police official added.
While scouring through their house, the police found three TT pistols, a repeater, 30 bullets and two motorcycles. The suspects were taken to the investigation unit.
During interrogation, Najeebullah and Khan confessed to their involvement in many murders and street crimes.
The two men disclosed that they had killed a man during a robbery in the Nazimabad underpass in which one of their associates was injured.
They also murdered a trader, Jawed Aziz Memon, during a robbery attempt in SITE–A.
They revealed that they had killed Mohammad Faizan, a passenger of bus of route-20 in SITE-A, when he resisted their robbery attempt. Najeebullah and Khan were wanted by Peerabad police in murder cases. Irshad, a drug peddler, was also arrested before. He was presently working with the Najeebullah group and wanted by Peerabad police for murders and attempts to murder.
