Islamabad: ICT Police arrests 11 outlaws
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police on Thursday arrested 11 outlaws from various localities of the city and recovered a stolen bike, fake currency, wine and drugs from their possession, a police spokesman said. According to details, Inspector Zulfaqar Ahmad from CIA police arrested accused Arslan Farooq and recovered fake currency worth Rs.106,000 from him. ASI Nadeem Tahir from Kohsar police station arrested three accused Naeem Ahmad, Akram and Umer Sarwar, recovering 11 bottles of wine from their possession.
Sub–Inspector Mansoor Ahmad from Bhara Kau police station arrested two accused Munwar Hussain and Nadeem Chowan and recovered stolen motorcycle worth Rs. 40,000 from their possession. Sub–Inspector Muhammad Yaseen and ASI Muhammad Ramzan from Ramna police nabbed two accused identified as Muhammad Ibrahim and Summer Islam, recovering three bottles of wine from their possession.
Sub–Inspector Javid Iqbal from Sabzi Mandi police station during patrolling arrested accused Sultan Ahmed and recovered 120–gram heroine from him. Sub–Inspector Anees Akbar from Shahzad Town police station arrested an Afghan National Khushall Khan. Sub–Inspector Muhammad Aabbas from Koral police station during patrolling arrested accused Waseem Akhtar and recovered 250 grams heroine from him.
Cases have been registered against the suspects while investigation is underway. IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq have appreciated the performance and directed all police officials to remain vigilant.
