Islamabad: 18 outlaws arrested, 268 wine bottles and fake currency recovered
ISLAMABAD: Police have nabbed 18 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered fake currency, 48 cans of beer, 268 wine bottles and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said. Sub–Inspector Muhammad Afzal from Anti Car Lifting Cell of Islamabad police arrested two accused Bakht Kareem and Ehsan Ullah, recovering a stolen car (WR–2396) from them. Sub–Inspector Main Shahbaz from Shalimar police station arrested Irfan for having 370 grams of hashish while Sub–Inspector Muhammad Tehseen from Golra police station arrested a suspected thief identified as Imran, besides recovering stolen items from him.
Sub–Inspector Muhamamd Yaeen and ASI Noor Elahi from Ramana police station arrested Kishwar Khan, Tanveer Hussain and Saif-ur-Rehman for possessing a shotgun, a pistol and a dagger respectively.
ASI Arif arrested two suspects Yousaf and Essa Khan besides recovering stolen property from them. ASI Muhamamd Arif from Sabzi Mandi police station apprehended Umer Sajid for possessing 9MM pistol and 24 cartridges.
ASI Muhammad Azam Khan arrested Yaseen, Aqib Ijaz and Abdul Basit besides recovering fake currency worth Rs.66,000 from their possession.
Sub–Inspector Habib-Ur-Rehman and Mansha Hussain from Shahzad Town police station arrested a bootlegger identified as Akram and recovered 220 wine bottles from his vehicle.
ASI Mehboob Hussain from Shahzad Town police station arrested a suspected thief while ASI Shoukat Mehmud from Koral police station arrested Zaman for selling petroleum products without having legal permission.
ASI Javed Iqbal from CIA police arrested Shahbaz Masih and recovered 48 cans of beer and 48 wine bottles wine from him. Sub–Inspector Ghulam Muhamamd Shah from Bhara Kau police station arrested for having stolen valuables. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
