Islamabad: 19 outlaws held; drugs, stolen car recovered
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police on Saturday claimed to arrest 19 accused from various areas of the city and recovered 3.735 kilograms heroin, stolen car and wine bottles from them, a police spokesman said. According to a press note issued from office of SSP Islamabad police on Saturday, a team of policemen hailing from Sabzi Mandi police station arrested a drug usher Naik Muhammad and recovered 3.735 kilograms heroin from him. According to police, the accused confessed before under police custody that he has been supplying ‘ heroine’ to his customers including national and International customers since long.
Meanwhile, Sub–Inspector Athar Khan recovered four snatched mobile phones and one 30–bore pistol from an accused Farman. SHO Golra police station Inspector Abid Akram and Sub–Inspector Muhamamd Tehseen arrested Kausar Perveen, Akhtar Gul for their alleged involvement in theft activities and recovered one pistol 30 bore as well as stolen valuables from them. ASI Muhammad Sadique from Kohsar police station arrested Shabir Alam and recovered stolen car (MLH–17) from him. ASI Safdar Hussain and Muhamamd Siddique arrested two Uzair Ali and Muhammad Ibrahim for possessing 3 0 bore pistol and four wine bottles respectively. Sub–Inspector Rabnawaz and Muhammad Asghar ASI from Tarnol police station apprehended two accuse Shark Khan and Khursheed Ahmad for having 30 bore pistol and 305 grams hashish from them. Sub–Inspectors Muhammad Anaar, Muhammad Shafique and ASI Arif arrested Altaf, Intizar and Tahir for possessing 105 gram heroin, three wine bottles and one 30 bore pistol respectively. Sub–Inspector Muhammad Ishaq from Loi Bher police station nabbed Rashid Hussain and Allah Dita in possession of wine bottle while ASI Aurangzeb from Sihala police station arrested a thief identified as Aabbas and recovered stolen property from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is under way from them.
