Larkana: 4 women rob jeweller of Rs0.7m gold
LARKANA: Four women robbed a jeweller of 12 Tolas of gold. The incident took place in the jurisdiction of the Market Police Station of the city on Monday. Reports said in the famous Resham Gali of Larkana, which remains as busy a bazaar as Tariq Road of Karachi, four women entered the Abbas Jewellery Shop. They expressed willingness to see and buy gold ornaments but went out of the shop without making any purchases.
The owner of the shop Iqbal Khokhar lodged a case of robbery against the four women at the Market Police Station. He reported that the women came to his shop to buy some gold ornaments, which they were shown but they did not buy and went away. Khokhar stated in the complaint that while putting the ornaments back in the locker, he noticed that 12 Tolas of jewellery, worth Rs0.7 million, was missing.
In addition to deploying the police force in the city for controlling crimes, the Larkana police high-ups have deputed 20 police officials for provision of security at Resham Gali but the women still robbed the jeweller.
