Karachi: 3 ‘target killers’ held
KARACHI: The Korangi Industrial Area police on Sunday arrested three suspects, allegedly involved in the killing of more than nine people. The police also claimed to have recovered three Kalashnikovs, four hand grenades and a number of live bullets from their possession. Acting on a tip off, the police raided a house in Malir River bed area, to which the suspects opened fire and a brief encounter ensued that resulted in the arrest of Mobhat Khan, Hamid and Noman, while their two accomplices fled from the scene.
Police also recovered arms and ammunition from the hideout. Police said that both the suspects were affiliated with a political party and they were involved in the killing of nine people in different parts of the city.
