Rawalpindi: Police recover 20 stolen vehicles
RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi police have busted carjacking gangs and recovered 20 vehicles, stolen or snatched from different cities of the Punjab, said City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi, Abdur Razzaq Cheema. He stated this while addressing a press conference at CIA and ACLC offices on Thursday. The police also recovered car of Asma Jahangir, which was stolen from Lahore, a few days before the general elections.
CPO said that people involved in killing of youth in NA-56 on Election Day, have been identified through video clips and they would be arrested soon.
Meanwhile, Morgah police have arrested three suspect involved in assassination of Chaudhary Mohammad Khan, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan, police source told ‘The News’, adding that the suspects have confessed their crime.
