Islamabad: City Police arrested 14 outlaws
ISLAMABAD: The City Police in its drive against anti-social elements on Thursday arrested 14 accused from different localities and recovered illegal arms and drugs from their possession. Police seized 1,140 grams charas, 11 bottles of liquor and five 30–bore pistols from the accused. According to details, Ganjmandi Police apprehended two unknown persons and recovered 230 grams and 105 grams charas from them respectively.
Waris Khan Police held an unknown with 245 grams charas and Qamar for carrying 10 bottles of liquor. Whereas, Gujjar Khan Police apprehended two suspects and recovered 10 grams heroin and a 30-bore pistol from them respectively.
Banni Police apprehended an accused for carrying 130 grams charas, while Taxila Police caught unknown persons with 330 grams charas and a 30–bore pistol. Wah Cantt Police arrested an unknown with a bottle of liquor.
Chauntra and Kallar Syedan Police recovered two 30-bore pistols each from two unknown persons. Whereas New Town Police recovered a 22–bore pistol from accused and Civil Lines Police caught an accused for carrying a 30–bore pistol. The City police have registered cases under relevant sections against the arrested accused and further investigation is underway to wipe out the anti–social elements from the society.
