Islamabad: Musharraf arrested in Bugti murder case
ISLAMABAD: Former military ruler Pervez Musharraf was formally arrested by a police team from Balochistan in the Akbar Bugti murder case on Thursday. Subsequently, an anti-terrorist court ordered a two–week judicial remand of the former military ruler.
Musharraf is to remain at his farmhouse for the duration of the remand. The farmhouse at Chak Shahzad had earlier been declared a sub-jail for the former president. Bugti was killed on August 26, 2006 during a military crackdown. agencies
