Khangarh: Police smash criminal gang; drugs, arms recovered
KHANGARH: On the directions of Muzaffargarh DPO Rana Abdul Jabbar, the Khangarh Police calimed to have busted criminal gang and recovered a huge quantity of drugs and weapons from their possession.
Addressing a press conference here Khangarh Police SHO Qaiser Hasnain Shah told the media persons that he constituted a special team under the supervision of ASI Mehboobul Hassan. Acting on a tip-off, the team comprised of, police officials Abid Hussain, Ghulam Shabir and Wahid Bakhsh, carried out raids at different places and arrested four members of the inter–district criminal gang.
The outlaws were identified as Saleem Sial, Amos Masih, Yameen Bana and Ashraf Sheikh. The police also recovered huge quantity of drugs including 100 kg of Bhung, one and half kg of opium, one kg of heroin, two kg of Doop and 400 bottles of foreign brand liquor besides four pistols. The SHO pledged to continue campaign against the criminals and purge the area of criminals. Meanwhile, the DPO and District Peace Committee member have lauded the police performance.
