Islamabad: Capital police nab 5 outlaws
ISLAMABAD: The police on Sunday arrested five lawbreakers and recovered two stolen vehicles, four wine bottles, 20 tins of beer and four pistols, a police spokesman said. According to details, SSP Muhammad Rizwan directed all police officials to launch an effective crackdown against criminals, bootleggers and drug pushers in the city and to ensure their arrests.
The Golra police arrested a suspect and recovered 30–bore pistols along with three bullets from him. The Ramna police arrested a bootlegger and recovered four wine bottles and 20 tins of beer from him.
The Sabzi Mandi police recovered one 30–bore pistol along with three bullets and arrested an accused. CIA police arrested two accused and recovered two 30-bore pistols along with six bullets from their possession.
The ACLC police recovered two stolen vehicles, stolen from the vicinity of Sabzazar police Lahore and Sanga pur Sailkot police station, from the possession of accused Ibrar Hinif and Muhammad Zubair.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway, police officials said.
