2 alleged bandits arrested in Lakki
LAKKI MARWAT: Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested two alleged bandits and seized weapons from them in Sarkori area near Naurang Town. An official said that a group of bandits barged into a house in Nar Muhammad Yar Sulemankhel village on late Saturday night and looted the house.
The imamates of the house knew the identity of one of the bandits and informed local police who arrested Jehanzeb, a resident of Sarkori village on Sunday, he maintained.
He told that a contingent of Shaheed Asmatullah Khan Khattak police station led by SDPO Liaqat Shah raided several places after the arrested man disclosed the name of his other accomplices.
He said that police also succeeded to capture another bandit identified as Mudassar from Sulemankhel area.
“The law enforcers also recovered a Kalashnikov, a shotgun and two pistols from them,” he added and claimed that other members of the bandits gang would soon be brought to the clutches of law.
Meanwhile, a police party of the same police station arrested two suspects and seized three motorcycles and a wireless set after exchange of firing near Nali Chak on late Saturday night.
