Karachi police arrest 52 more ‘criminals’
KARACHI: Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested some 52 suspects over the last 24 hours during their ongoing crackdown against criminal elements in Karachi, SAMAA reported.
Officials said the West Zone police conducted several raids in different parts of the city and rounded up 52 suspected outlaws wanted to the law-enforcers in various criminal cases.
Illegal weapons were also recovered from the criminals, police said.
Meanwhile, police carried out operation in Pashtun–dominated locality of Sohrab Goth this morning and arrested 10 suspects.
The continued spell of firing incidents and violence has claimed lives of seven people including a police during the last 24 hours in the metropolis.
