Nowshera: 4 accused held in multiple murder case
NOWSHERA: The police Monday claimed to have arrested four accused in the murder of a five–member family and their servant in Safari Villa, Islamabad.
Talking to The News, Superintendent of Police (SP) Rural and in–charge of the investigation team Mustansir Feroz said that after collecting evidence from the close–circuit camera and cellphone, the police arrested 25-year-old Sikandar.
He said Sikandar was close relative of the victim family and had killed the entire family to grab their property and wealth. He claimed that Sikandar had confessed to have committed the crime during the preliminary investigation.
The official said that Sikandar had admitted that he had hired assassins from Peshawar while his mother Rukhsana, who was cousin of the slain Aamirullah and sister of Aamir’s wife Nazia, was also accomplice in the crime.
Sikandar told the police that they in collaboration with the family’s servant Asghar killed the family members and then dumped their bodies in various places in Islamabad. However, he admitted that they also killed the servant to eliminate all the evidence.
The official said the police had arrested three hired–assassins Afsar Khan, Zakir Khan and ringleader of the group Ibrahim Khan while raids were being conducted for arrest of three more accused.
The criminals had killed Aamirullah, his wife Nazia and their children Romana, Adam, Hamza and their servant on October 14 inside their home in Islamabad.
