3 drug peddlers arrested in Rawalpindi
RAWALPINDI: The regional headquarters of anti narcotics force (ANF), has released one–week efficiency report regarding recovery of narcotics from different cities falling in its jurisdiction and recovered heroin, hashish and other narcotics.
The ANF, at Benazir Bhutto International Airport recovered 40 heroin–filled ingested capsules and 105 heroin–filled concealed capsules in shoes of a passenger. The passenger identified as Saeed–ur-Rehman son of Madad Ullah hailing from Sawabi, has been arrested. He was to travel by Oman Airline’s flight WY–346 from Islamabad to Muscat.
While, in two separate operations, ANF Rawalpindi arrested a woman Abida daughter of Naseer Ahmed resident of Rashidabad, Naushehra from Gharsheen Bus Stop, Hasanabdal and recovered two kilograms heroin from her possession.
In another operation ANF Rawalpindi arrested another woman drug pusher Bakht Zari wife of Usman Jan resident of Rehmat Abadi, Peshawar and recovered 1 Kg Brown Heroin and 1 Kg Charas from her possession, while travelling in a Hiace van near Burhan Motorway interchange.
In another operation, ANF Lahore recovered 750 grams of heroin tactfully concealed in the garments of a parcel booked through a courier company. Overtly parcel contained 3 ladies suits, 14 baby suits and 2 ladies shawls. The consignment was sent by Muhammad Asghar resident of House No. E-707, Street-16, Gulistan Colony-II, Siddique Chowk, Ismail Nagar, Lahore. It was destined for Saira Khan, 34 Harington Terrace, Breadford West, Yorkshire, UK. All cases have been registered under CNS Act at ANF Police Stations and further investigations are under process.
