Police arrest key target killers, dangerous terrorist in Karachi
KARACHI: The CID police have arrested three alleged key target killers and one extremely dangerous terrorist in Karachi on Tuesday, SAMAA reports.
A banned outfit’s alleged terrorist Amin was captured by the CID team during a raid in Orangi Town on Tuesday, told the police.
The held terrorist, Amin, belongs to Qasim Rasheed Group of a banned outfit and he was involved in over 45 target killings of police officials, political workers and a doctor in the city, informed Fayyaz Khan, In Charge of Anti–Sectarianism Cell of the CID police.
Amin was involved in sectarian killings and targeted 12 police officials, 33 political activists of different parties, and 1 doctor in Karachi, he added.
Three rocket launchers, 20 kilograms of explosives, detonators, and one 9MM pistol were recovered from custody of the arrested terrorist, Amin, added the police.
At the other side, Mobina Town Police Station team managed to arrest three more alleged key target killers, on secret tip, during a raid in the area.
Amongst the arrested target killers are included Qasim alias Abba and his two accomplices, Adil alias Maindak and Hakim alias Kaloo and they belong to a 14–member organized group of mercenaries, operating in the city, told the SSP of East.
The police have recovered arms and ammunition from the arrested target killers and launched search operation for remaining 11 members of the killers’ gang in the metropolis, added the SSP.
