67 ‘criminals’ held in Karachi
KARACHI: The law enforcement agencies rounded up 69 suspected criminals in the city on Monday. The Crime Investigation Department arrested three alleged Lyari–based gangsters wanted in many murder and extortion cases in a raid conducted in Machar Colony.
CID Counter Terrorism Unit In–charge Raja Umer Khattab identified them as Abul Khair, Farooq alias Deewan and Danish alias Commando. They were found in possession of three TT pistols with bullets. The police official said these gangsters were involved operating in the Fisheries area. They had also killed their own accomplices, Zainal and Dildar, on October 10.
