Mansehra: Homeo doctor held in liquor case
MANSEHRA: The police Sunday claimed to have arrested a homeopathic doctor for allegedly selling indigenous liquor.
Mohammad Tariq, deputy superintendent of Mansehra police, told reporters that Mohammad Shafique was arrested after a police party raided his so-called clinic and seized a huge quantity of indigenous liquor. Tariq said the doctor had already been arrested many times earlier and now the police would recommend his case to the district administration for permanent seizure of this clinic. The DSP said indigenous liquor is highly dangerous compared to international brands of wine as it carries a large quantity of alcohol and spirit ammonia, which affect hearts and in many cases its users (drinkers) die just after using it.
