Mastung: LEAs seize huge weapons cache
MASTUNG: The law–enforcement agencies recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from a Karachi–bound pickup during checking at Kirdgap area of Mastung district on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner of Mastung, Mehrab Shah, said that the LEAs officials stopped a Toyota pickup at the check-post and recovered as many as 62 AK47 rifles (Kalashnikovs), 30 pistols, bullets, two telescopes and two silencers from its hidden cavities. He said the seized weapons were being smuggled to Karachi. However, the driver of the vehicle managed to escape. Mastung Levies registered a case.
