2 terrorists held in Chaman, tons of explosives, arms seized
CHAMAN: The security forces on Thursday held two alleged terrorists and seized tons of explosives and other arms during a raid conducted in Chaman area of Balochistan on Thursday.
“Personnel of law enforcement agencies, on a tip-off, conducted a search operation in Rehman Kahol area in Western part of Chaman,” security forces official said adding during checking two alleged terrorists were apprehended.
Three tons of explosives, six suicide jackets, four IED bombs, 200 landmines, 120 hand grenades, 2,000 remote controls, five kilograms of ball bearings, others material used in bomb making, electronic devices, computers, maps of different sensitive areas and five motorbikes were also seized, he maintained. The alleged terrorists were shifted to undisclosed location for further interrogation. The local administration registered a case and initiated probe to track the other suspects down.
