Karachi: LEAs round up 98 more suspects
KARACHI: Law enforcers claimed to have detained around 98 suspects during separate targeted raids conducted across the city on Tuesday.
Pakistan Rangers Sindh rounded up around nine suspects including target killer and extortionists affiliated with a political party. The arrests were made during separate targeted raids conducted in Mehran Town, Bithai Colony, Al-Falah Society, Sherpao Colony, Old Vegetable Market, Khokrapar, Gulshan–e-Ghazi, Salah Mohammad Goth, Bukhari Colony, Mehmodabad No 6, Ranchorelane and Macchar Colony. Weapons were also recovered from their possession, the spokesman claimed. Separately, Karachi police arrested around 89 criminals during 98 raids and three encounters conducted in various parts of the metropolis. The officials also recovered weapons and drugs from the custody of suspects.
