Lahore: 2 kidnappers held, child recovered
LAHORE: CIA police arrested two kidnappers and recovered a four-year-old boy from their possession.SSP Investigation Abdul Rab Chaudhry told a press conference on Tuesday, accused Babar Ali and his brother Sajid Ali had kidnapped four-year-old Abubakar for Rs 1 million in Shafiqabad on December 28, 2013.
They took the boy to the house of their sister Razia Bibi in Shahdara and handed over the boy to her. Police arrested Razia Bibi and her husband Daood and recovered the boy safely. Police teams have been dispatched to round up Babar Ali and Sajid.
He further informed that the CIA police had also arrested three persons who raped a girl (SR) of cantonment, videoed the crime and blackmailed her. The arrested rapists were identified as Mubashar Saeed, Saqib Lateef and Faheem Azam. Police recovered a laptop, two USBs, three cell phones and a camera from their possession.
He said police had arrested 14 robbers and recovered Rs o.8m, two bikes, 25 cell phones and illicit weapons. The accused confessed 125 robberies in various parts of the city. Replying to a query, he said property disputes seemed to be the reason of Malik Mobeen’s murder.
