Fraudster arrested in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: The Koral Police arrested a fraudster who used to cheat people by standing in queues outside banks and deprived them of their money.
A spokesman for the Islamabad Police said that an accused identified as Nasir Ali used to take money from people standing outside banks by saying that they had fake currency notes in their hands. He used to ask them to give him the notes to check whether they are real or fake and after having the currency notes he used to flee from the scene.
According to police, when Nasir Ali tried to cheat Qadeer outside a bank in Alipur, he was overpowered and looted amount of Rs30,000 was recovered from him.
Nasir Ali confessed to his involvement in many such cases in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Further investigation is underway from him.
