Rawalpindi: 4 arrested by ANF at airport
RAWALPINDI: The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Rawalpindi Airport team arrested four passengers at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad, and recovered 1.1 Kg Heroin along with 600 grams Methamphetamine (Ice), tactfully concealed inside their two bags.
The accused were identified as Abdul Majeed (Sargodha), Kulsoom Bibi w/o Muhammad Bux resident of Sargodha and Ghulam Fiza wife of Muhammad Nawaz resident of Sargodha. They were to travel to Jeddah by Shaheen Airline flight No. NL-719.
ANF Rawalpindi Airport Team arrested Umer Bilal son of Muhammad Boota from Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad and recovered 1.45 Kg of Methamphetamine (Ice), concealed in his shoes. He was proceeding to Jeddah via Dubai by Emirates Airline flight No (EK–613).
Meanwhile, ANF Lahore arrested a Nigerian national Ehrim Anthony hailing from Lagos and recovered 500 Grams of Heroin from his possession. He was arrested at Makkah Colony, Gulberg, Lahore. ANF Lahore Airport Team recovered 450 Grams of Heroin at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore. The Drugs were being smuggled by Robina Bibi daughter of Muhammad Aqeel Shah resident of Lahore and were tactfully concealed in Shampoo bottles. The accused was proceeding to Jeddah by Shaheen Airline flight No. (NL–729).
ANF Lahore recovered 400 Grams of Heroin from a parcel at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore. The Drugs were concealed in Crockery and was dispatched from Skynet Gujranwala. The parcel was destined for England. ANF Quetta Spot Check Team deployed at Costal Highway, Gawadar, during routine checking recovered 750 Grams of Opium. The Drugs were recovered from Mubariq hailing from Gawadar while travelling in Toyota Hiace.
