Islamabad Police arrest 18 outlaws
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police arrested 18 persons, including 12 Afghan nationals, and recovered five pistols and 14 bottles of liquor from their possession, the police spokesman said.
The Sabzi Mandi and Industrial Area police stations nabbed 12 Afghan nationals residing in Pakistan illegally. They have been identified as Abdul Malik, Anwar Khan, Zar Wali, Essa Khan, Hazrat Din, Hawaldar Khan, Gul Khan, Abdul Waheed, Hafizullah, Jabbar Khan and Daud Khan.
The Koral Police arrested Abdul Munaf after recovery of a 30–bore pistol from him. Rizwan was apprehended by Sihala Police for having a 30–bore pistol.
The Shalimar Police nabbed Azam Khan in possession of a 9mm pistol while Shah Jehan and Akram Saeed were apprehended for possessing one 30–bore pistol each. The Bhara Kahu Police arrested Javed during routine patrolling after recovery of 14 bottles of liquor from him.
Cases have been registered against nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
