Rangers arrests smuggler in Lahore
LAHORE: Pakistan Rangers, Punjab, foiled a huge smuggling attempt, arrested a smuggler and seized 48 bottles of Indian liquor at Wahga border on Thursday morning.
According to a handout, the personnel of Rangers were patrolling alongside the border when they observed the movement of suspected persons.
The officials warned them. Upon this, they left the liquor and tried to flee back to India. The Rangers officials chased them and opened fire and succeeded in arresting one smuggler. On the search of the seized bags, Rangers found 48 bottles of liquor of different brands.
