Islamabad: 4 members of Afghan dacoits’ gang arrested
ISLAMABAD: The CIA Police have arrested four members of a gang of Afghan dacoits while planning to target a prominent businessman of Sabzi Mandi from Sabzi Mandi Area, the CIA police spokesman said.
The CIA Police recovered 2 pistols and 2 revolvers during a raid at a hideout and arrested, Zakirullah, Romal Khan, Salah–ud–din and Fida Muhammad, the CIA said. He said that Afghan gangsters were present at the hideout at Fauji Colony, Rawalpindi, when raid was conducted, three gangsters managed to flee away.
A case has been registered under sections 399/402 PPC with the Sabzi Mandi Police Station. During the preliminary interrogation they have confessed two murders during committing dacoities while they committed dozens of dacoities in the residential sectors falling in the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi Police Station and other Rawalpindi areas.
