Sargodha: Kidnapped, gang-raped sisters recovered; 4 nailed
SARGODHA: The police have recovered two abducted sisters, said to be MA students of a private college and arrested four kidnapers who gang raped the girls along with their accomplices.
Addressing a press conference here at Cantt Police Station, DSP Rana Ghulam Murtaza informed that Sheikh Imran, Sultan Masih, Shamshad alias Shadoo and Umer Hayat Mughal had kidnapped private college students, (both sisters whose identities are withheld) when they were on the way to a private academy on April 30, 2014. The DSP said that the accused kept on moving both the girls to different cities including Azad Kashmir where their other accomplices including Fakhr and Dastgir also molested the girls. The police officer pointed out that the accused had prepared forged Nikkah Namas of both the girls with the connivance of unknown religious clerics.
The DSP said that the Punjab Chief Minister had sought report of the incident while the IG Police also remained in touch with the Sargodha Police about progress on the case almost on daily basis. He said that further investigation was in progress and the rest of the culprits would be arrested soon.
