4 held over graft charges in Abbottabad
HARIPUR: The officials of the Anti–Corruption Establishment on Tuesday arrested four government employees, including a sub–engineer, over corruption charges in Abbottabad district, official said. Talking to reporters, Deputy Superintendent of Police Anti–Corruption, Mehmood Khan said Niaz Khan, a sub engineer in Communication and Services Department, and Abdul Qadir, who was a cleric in district health officer, had shown eight kanals land in the documents but the existing land was only four kanals, which was allocated for the basic health unit.
He said two patwaris, Qazi Tahir Farooq and Waseem were also rounded up in a land-related issue in Salhad area. The police registered the cases against the accused and started investigation.
